National Recycling Week 2018

October 29, 2018

November 12th – November 18th is 2018’s National Recycling Week. Recycling is the progression of changing left-over materials into new materials and objects. It is an alternative to "predictable" waste disposal that can save material and help lower gas radiations. Recycling can stop the waste of potentially useful materials and diminish the intake of fresh raw materials. I am here to give you five major recycling tips and how we can push to make this week more popular than ever.
1. Recycling bins available in communities and households
2. Recycling old newspaper for gifts and wrapping paper
3. Buying rechargeable batteries
4. Buying remanufacture ink and toner cartridges to keep out of landfills.
5. Reusing coffee cups to reduce waste
These tips not only help the environment and your community but the whole planet. This week must be talked about and Entercom 1thing is here to help push the sustainability commitments forward.
