SHOWTIME has shared the official trailer for its forthcoming documentary centered on 18-time GRAMMY winner and 3-time Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee Eric Clapton.

The documentary covers not only Clapton’s influence over modern music and culture but also intimate topics, like his difficult upbringing, the loss of his son, his struggles with addiction, and music as recovery. Through interviews with Clapton, his family, and friends—George Harrison, Jimi Hendrix, and B.B. King, included—the Lili Fini Zanuck-directed doc reveals a “deeply personal” look inside the life of the legendary rocker.

Premiering at the 2017 Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), the documentary is set to make its television debut on SHOWTIME February 10, 2018.
