Star Wars: The Last Jedi was released as a digital download in the US yesterday, March 13. And while many overlook the special features that accompany movie purchases, it looks like The Last Jedi has some pretty worthwhile bonuses.
Director Rian Johnson took to Twitter to shout out his favorite of the bunch—a music-only version of the film.
The Last Jedi’s out today in the states for digital download, blu in two weeks. Of all the special features, my favorite one is kinda hidden, so wanted to call it out. If you buy the movie anywhere online (or the blu) you have access to a music only version of TLJ.

The one hoop you have to jump through to get it: get the Movies Anywhere app and link whatever account you bought the movie with to it. It’s free, it works pretty painlessly. Kinda a pain I know, but I think it’s worth it to get this version.

Also, here are a few international dates for the home vid release... aaaand that’s it, I’ll now get back to tweeting about Weird Al. https://t.co/6agDXbYbA9

Without dialogue or effects in the background, the music-only version will resemble a silent film set to John Williams’ Oscar-nominated score.
Check out some of the music below, and if you bought the movie online or plan to buy it on Blu-ray, you’ll have to let us know what you think of this special feature!
Star Wars: The Last Jedi is available on Blu-ray March 27.
