Between work, family, bills, and other miscellaneous obstacles that we deal with, stress can pile up and manifest in unhealthy ways. I wanted to share a few environmentally-friendly ways to help lower your stress levels and live in good health. First, going outdoors at least 5 to 10 minutes every day will help with stress. Fresh air lightens your spirit and improves your mood while sunlight gives off natural vitamin D that you can’t receive from being indoors. Second, add plants to your office space. Plants help remove those toxins in your environment and clean up the air you consume and can help with reducing stress while helping you live greener. Lastly, plant a garden and eat your own food. Not only is growing your own food helping with eating healthier, it also give you something to focus on and get your hands dirty creating something wonderful. The process of planting can help relax you and give you something to look forward to on a daily basis.
